環境デザイン専攻の研究生で、今年度我々のグループで客員として所属していた稲垣君が、数物科学専攻の大学院試験の二次募集に合格し、来年度から正式に数物の大学院生として、我々のグループの一員になることが決まりました。学部が金沢大の電子情報学類だったこともあり、量子力学や熱統計力学は履修したこともなかったので、受験科目にその二つがある物理コースの大学院受験はとても苦労しました。夏の院試で惜しくも合格できなかった後、後期には物理コースの学部授業を聴講もさせてもらったりしながら、頑張って勉強した結果、見事、今回の合格に繋がりました。本当におめでとう、稲垣君！今後ともよろしくお願いします。

Inagaki-kun, who has been our visiting member from the School of Environmental design, finally passed the entrance exam of our graduate school! He will be our group member officially from the next semester. He graduated the electro engineering department of Kanazawa University, he had no idea about quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics. Therefore, he had hard time to solve problems in the 1st entrance exam of our graduate school held last summer. After he failed the exam, he studied hard physics including the above two subjects and he even took classes of them in our department. And then he finally passed the exam held last December. Congratulations, Inagaki-kun and welcome to our group!
