これまでは超低温グループと学生部屋をシェアしていましたが、あまりみんな使うことなく実験室で過ごしていました。ただ少しずつ学生が増えてきたのと、コロナ禍で狭い実験室にたくさんいるのも問題だということで、新たなに我々の学生部屋を用意することになりました。ついでに、VBLから移設した大気中の原子間力顕微鏡（AFM）用のスペースにも困っていたので、これを機に新しい実験室も用意しました。前任の教授が使っていた二部屋を使わせてもらうことになり、業者を入れて掃除をした後に、NanoLSIのグループから貰い受けた机をみんなで運び入れました。ソファーも入れてcozyな部屋になったでしょうか。実験室の方はもう少し整理が必要ですが、学生部屋と教員のオフィスからも近いというのは便利で良いです。

Our group members have been sharing a student office with ULT group students and many of them did not use the office. So we decided to have our own student office. In addition, we prepared another laboratory space for room temperature AFM next to the office. After cleaning of the floors and windows by a cleaning company, we moved desks to the office and the lab space. We need to organize the lab space more but it locates in the same floor with the office and PI’s office, which is quite convenient.
