名古屋大学凝縮系理論研究室の山川先生が、金沢大を訪問して下さいました。自然研の藪蕎麦でのランチの後、我々が以前に行ったFeSeTeの実験結果の解釈に関する大変有意義な議論をして頂きました。これまで考えつかなかった新しい解釈のアイデアを頂き、議論が白熱しました。その後、日本物理学会北陸支部特別講演会として、FeSeの超伝導発現機構に関するセミナーをして頂きました。超伝導の基礎的な導入から、FeSeの軌道ゆらぎによる超伝導の可能性を示唆する研究結果まで、大変勉強になる講演をして頂きました。講演の後に更なる研究の議論をして頂き、新しい解釈への道筋が固まり始めたところで、懇親会へと移動しました。懇親会では、生物物理の渡辺さん、電情の島村さんとともに金沢まいもん寿司に行って来ました。研究の話から研究へのモチベーションを上げるための学部での物理教育まで、アツい議論をしている内にあっという間に数時間が過ぎていきました。山川先生、来沢ありがとうございました！また、是非いらっしゃって下さい。（吉田）

Dr. Yamakawa from Nagoya University visited us today. After having a lunch at Yabu-soba in the main building, we had a very fruitful discussion on our experimental results of FeSeTe. After the discussion, Dr. Yamakawa gave an interesting and instructive talk on his theoretical work on paring mechanism of FeSe. We continued exciting discussion about our FeSeTe results after his talk until we moved to dinner with Dr. Watanabe from Biophysics group and Dr. Shimamura from School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. During the dinner, we talked not only about our researches but also about how to motivate undergraduate students so that they will be enthusiastic for graduate research.
