筑波大学の柏木隆成先生が、金沢大学を訪問して下さいました。物性研時代から続けている共同研究のための話し合いをしました。また、高温超伝導体のテラヘルツ波発振という応用利用に関する講演をして下さいました。学生にも分かりやすいとても面白い講演で、低温のメンバーだけでなく、他の研究室からも多くの参加者が集い、活発な議論が行われました。セミナー後には、WPIの渡辺先生たちをお誘いして、寿司屋ー片町のコースで懇親会を行いました。柏木先生ありがとうございます、また是非いらっしゃってください！

Prof. Kashiwagi from University of Tsukuba visited us. We discussed the results and future prospective of our collaboration started since ISSP. After that, we quickly visited Prof. Watanabe’s lab. Prof. Kashiwagi also gave an interesting talk on his recent study on THz light oscillator based on high-TC cuprate superconductor. The talk was very instructive and understandable even for students. Not only our group members but also Professors from the other groups joined the seminar and discussed the topic intensively. After the seminar, we went out for a sushi dinner and drinking in Katamachi. Thanks a lot for coming and seminar and please visit us again, Prof. Kashiwagi. (YY)
