台湾国立清華大学のGermar Hoffmann先生が、金沢大学を訪問して下さり、低温STMを使った金属表面上の単分子の研究に関して講演して下さいました。超低温グループの松本先生とキャンパス内の蕎麦屋でランチをした後、超高真空AFMグループの新井先生、バイオAFMグループの小寺先生、柴田先生、渡辺先生がそれぞれの研究室を紹介して下さりました。先生方、貴重なお時間をとって下さりありがとうございました。最後に、超低温研究室を見学なさり、ドイツからの留学生と一緒にお城を見学し、寿司屋ー片町のコースで懇親会を行いました。片町での二次会では、北陸先端科学技術大学院大学の安先生も参加して下さり、とても楽しい会になりました。是非またいらっしゃって下さい！

Prof. Germar Hoffmann from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan visited us. He gave a seminar on his studies of single and self-assemble molecules on metal sufaces. After a lunch at the soba restaurant on campus with Prof. Matsumoto from ULT group, Prof. Arai from UHV-AFM group, Prof. Kodera, Prof. Shibata, and Prof. Watanabe from Bio-AFM group kindly showed their laboratories. Many thanks, professors! After a lab tour to ULT laboratory, we visited Kanazawa castle with German foreing students and Dr. Shimamura and had a sushi dinner and then had a tea and coffee time in Katamachi.
