東京大学物性研究所での助教としての7年間の勤めを終えて、金沢大学理工学域数物科学類物理学コースの准教授として着任しました。長らくお世話になった長谷川幸雄先生からは、「楽しい研究ができてありがとう。吉田さんを雇って良かったです。」という、これ以上ない餞のお言葉を頂きました。金沢大の極低温研究室（寒剤供給と共同利用施設）と連携しつつ、低温STMの研究室を立ち上げて行きます。今後とも、宜しくお願い致します。

I just finished my contract as a staff scientist in ISSP, University of Tokyo and moved to Kanazawa University as a tenured associate professor. Prof. Hasegawa at ISSP, my former boss, told me that he enjoyed working with me and it was a good decision to hire me 7 years ago, which was the best farewell message I ever got! I am going to start up own low-temperature STM laboratory working closely with Ultra-low-temperature group in Kanazawa University.
